This photo book should uniquely tell a story through the images you’ve taken. Each page should be guided by the underlying theme you’ve chosen.
When picking a theme, feel free to go a little nuts. Instead of merely naming it “Family Summer Trip in Vegas,” go with “Dad’s Best Drunken Moments.” You get the drift.
Step #2: Curate your photos

Layflat photo books are more for the minimalists who don’t want to overstuff each page. This particular style of an album can hold as few as ten photos at a time.
The last two are pretty self-explanatory, and it will all come down to preference. Go for softcover if you want to keep it simple, but if you want a bit of an upgrade, choose hardcover.
Bonus Pro-Tip: Add in some useful texts
Your photos ideally should be able to tell a story on their own, but adding some useful texts won’t hurt. These could be labels for each page or some witty captions to add some character.
Just be sure to keep it to a reasonable amount. After all, your images should still be the ones to stand out.
